Take some time to explore this season of the breath
Season of the Exhale Hold
This flow guides you to get curious about your relationship with emptiness through a balanced breath with gentle exhale holds to help your body shift out of the sympathetic stress response and into a state of calm. By building your tolerance to carbon dioxide, the suspensions (exhale holds) activate your parasympathetic nervous system, slowing your heart rate and signaling to your body that it's time to rest.
Keep the following in mind while playing with your breath
Soften your jaws and forehead.
Beware of forcing your stomach outwards on the inhale.
Use your hands to guide where you want to breathe into your body.
If you start to feel dizzy or lightheaded, pause and come back another time.
