    Sunday, June 2, 2024 | 10-11am

    Hazel & Bee

Learn how slow breathing can support many aspects of your health - from mental relaxation to physical resilience - in your daily life. The workshop will include gentle breathing practices and discussion alongside Hazel and Bee’s blended tea to support you and your body as we move through late spring.

  • Summer Solstice Breath Walk

    Sunday, June 23, 2024 | 10-11am

    Pitney Meadows Community Farm

We will move through the gardens following the four parts of the breath starting at the northmost part of the garden, to symbolize the season of breath (the transition between the inhale and inhale hold) that we find ourselves in. As we breathe into the garden and relish the sounds and smell of this celebratory transition, the intention is for each ambler to move away with a relaxed focus for summer and a newfound appreciation for slow breaths, especially for the transition between the inhale and the inhale hold.

Sarah, the founder of Slo Breathworks, breathes…

Sarah is the founder of Slo Breathworks and has 70 hours of breathwork facilitation training in addition to being a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Sarah also pulls from her Sustainability MBA and Leadership Certificate to design workshops and trainings to build breathing cultures at workplaces. While learned knowledge is important for the physiology and science of breathwork, it is the lived moments of practicing conscious breathing when anxiety, pain, and stress arise that motivate Sarah to guide slow breathing experiences designed to elicit discovery of our senses and surroundings.

"Sarah led a breathwork session for BWB to celebrate the Autumn Equinox. It was a wonderful live experience, and a great reminder that breathwork is a simple and powerful way to connect to ourselves and surrender. We offered this recorded session to our clients and appreciate the opportunity to take a 10-minute break which can radically change our days. We highly recommend working with Sarah - she is calm, organized, and has an absolutely beautiful spirit."
